The Grammy Award-Winning Pacific Chorale is one of America’s great choirs and ‘has risen to national prominence’ (Los Angeles Times) since its inception in 1968. Hailed for delivering ‘thrilling entertainment’, the resident choir at Segerstrom Centre for its artistic innovation and commitment to expanding the choral repertoire.

As part of an international tour, Pacific Chorale with Bath Philharmonia present the UK premiere of the ground-breaking composer, Florence Price’s rediscovered Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight alongside Joseph Haydn’s stirring and majestic Nelson Mass in the glorious setting of The Sheldonian Theatre.

Although composed in vastly different times in reaction to vastly different circumstances on separate continents, both works convey powerful and profound messages of humanity relevant to today.
