Join the Oxford Millennium Orchestra and conductor Joe Davies for an evening of Salsa, Serenades, and Spectacle- from Dances to the Dies Irae. Berlioz’ triumphant Symphonie fantastique is paired with music from Bizet’s Carmen: two works revolving around unrequited love ending in tragedy. Rimsky-Korsakov’s iconic Capriccio Espagnol completes an intriguing trio, as kaleidoscopic colour fills the Sheldonian Theatre.

About the Orchestra: The Oxford Millennium Orchestra is one of the leading student-community symphony orchestras in Oxford, comprised of musically accomplished undergraduates, postgraduates, and members of the wider Oxford community.
