On the evening of Thursday 20th January, the Concert Artists of St Mary’s Calne will be joined by renowned international operatic artists Hilary Summers and Neal Davies in addition to 2020 Welsh Singers Showcase finalist, Osian Wyn Bowen for a sparkling evening of opera.

St Mary’s Calne is a girls independent boarding school based in Wiltshire. The Calne Foundation Trust is a charitable trust that exists to support present and future generations of pupils at St Mary’s Calne and St Margaret’s Preparatory School.  It was established in 2012 and exists to ensure continuing investment in the schools’ facilities and to provide vital funding for Scholarships, Bursaries and other educational programmes benefiting the pupils of the two schools.

The Sheldonian Theatre will provide the backdrop to the fifth in our Cantabile Concert Series held in support of St Mary’s Music Bursaries, raising funds to enable pupils of diverse backgrounds to enjoy the power of music and find a voice of their own either through an instrument or indeed as a vocalist.

We do hope you can join us for this fantastic opportunity for the vocalists and instrumentalists of St Mary’s Calne to start the year in great musical style!
