The Oxford Festival Orchestra plays Beethoven and Bruch

Every penny from ticket sales will be donated to the DYMF, which offers grants and scholarships to underprivileged young musicians.

The Festival Orchestra is incredibly excited to return to Oxford for its first concert of the 2023 academic year! Join us and feel the full force of an incredible concert of world-famous classics. We'll revel in the high drama and explosive emotion of Beethoven's Coriolan Overture; the addictive ear-worms of Bruch's Violin Concerto (featuring Cristian de Sa, one of Classic FM's 'Young Stars'); and above all in the staggering genius of Beethoven's Seventh Symphony, its legendary funeral march bookended by a series of propulsive dances.

We're also enormously excited to be joined by world-leading musicians from the ENO and the LPO, in addition to talented young musicians from conservatoires spanning the UK.

We promise this'll truly be a night to remember.

Please note that this concert will be professionally filmed and recorded.
