Join us in the spectacular auditorium and discover centuries of history through fascinating stories and surprising facts.

For those feeling adventurous, climb 144 steps to the Old Printing Loft to uncover the Sheldonian’s remarkable architectural design and enjoy breath-taking panoramic views across Oxford from the Cupola. Some notable sights include the Radcliffe Camera and the Bridge of Sighs.

• There is step-free access to the Auditorium, please request this on arrival. An accessible toilet is also available on the ground floor. For further information, please read the building's accessibility guide.

• Please note that The Old Printing Loft and Cupola are only accessible via 114 steps

• The Sheldonian is suitable for children of all ages, but children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult
