Don't miss the much loved annual Viennese New Year Concert at the Sheldonian Theatre
Conducted by the remarkable Artistic Director, Stephen Bell, the fabulous Viennese New Year Concert returns for 2020, performed by City of Oxford Orchestra.
In the first half, renowned pianist Tom Poster will perform Grieg’s evergreen Piano Concerto.
Stephen will then whirl the orchestra through a sparkling programme that includes Lehar and Suppe, as well as all our Strauss favourites – his most romantic waltzes, thrilling polkas and exciting marches.
You'll be dancing in and out of the Sheldonian!

Performance Information
Box Office will open at 7.15pm. Theatre doors will open at 7.30pm.
The first half will be 40 minutes long, followed by a 20-minute interval. The performance will finish at 10pm.
